The factory intercooler for this vehicle is a restrictive top mount that suffers heat soak, so the front mount is a winner straight off the bat, by being out front in cool, fresh air. Minimal modifications are required to install the kit. Fitment of the kit will deliver reduced inlet temperatures and engine running temperatures, higher torque output, greater reliability and more consistent and sustainable power. With a significantly larger core size than the standard factory intercooler, you can expect to see substantial differences depending on other modifications made.
